If she is wing cranky it is almost a sure fire way to calm her down. It's especially helpful when I have to walk the dog, too. I plan to wear her for public transportation too. I wear her when the stroller will take up too much room (crowded places like the farmers market, the grocery store on busy days, cozy coffee shops, etc), or if the terrain in not suitable for a stroller (hiking, apple picking, beach walks). She hated Costco every time we tried to go, until I started wearing her in the Ergo! Sometimes when we go for walks, traveling, trips to stores that aren't that stroller friendly (i.e. Carter's, ironically). I always kept one of the carriers in the stroller until recently.
