@runsyellowlites: thanks! I always make him wait a bit (and the very nature of bottle feeding makes him wait a little since an additional serving has to be measured and warmed) before giving him more to see if he's truly still hungry. Sometimes I've noticed he's content with just the pacifier and dozes off, but other times, he's still trying to gnaw my hand off 10 minutes later.

@septemberlove: From around 1 month on intakes is ~25 oz a day for breastfed babies, some a little more some a little less.
http://kellymom.com/bf/pumpingmoms/pumping/milkcalcnm

And since I know you're bottle feeding this might help on intake (since as babies get older they suck more efficient & can seem to need more, especially from the bottle)
http://kellymom.com/bf/pumpingmoms/feeding-tools/bottle-feeding/

Only one time as P exceeded 30oz in one day & that was 100% because of technique when feeding her. Once my mom changed that she's never had even close (usually around 20).

LO is currently eating about 24oz of fortified breastmilk per day at 5.5 weeks... When does intake level off? Two weeks ago, he was eating 17oz a day!

I know he can't keep adding 3.5oz a week to his intake, but I'm just curious how much he's going to be eating at his peak.
