They experience the world with their mouths for the first couple years, not sure why but it's the way they are. I think between 2-3 years is when it stops. When does this stage end? It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't worry about germs so much. We are a part of a play group and I am always a mess because she tries to put the other kids toys in her mouth! Ugh...I shiver just thinking about it. I know that is a part of being a baby and she will always be exposed to germs but I hate them. So, short question long, when does this phase end? After she is done cutting her teeth? </p>
