I agree with @artbee: my son's 14 months, and just insert "play" or "errands" and my day still looks like it did a year ago!

Hmm. Not sure if this helps answer your question at all, but it was probably about 4 weeks when I felt able to get my act together enough to leave the house during the day and do things like run errands or meet a friend for lunch. Not that I never left the house the first four weeks, but when I did go out then it was usually because I had someone else to help me get myself and LO together. So I felt like I got some time to myself in the sense that I could do things other than sit on the couch with a baby on my boob.

Hang in there! I'd say things turn up a bit at 3-4 months.

@BabyBoecksMom: I'm there with you! My LO is 2 weeks old today and that's how my schedule is too! My LO also has his nights and days mixed up so I'm doing a graveyard shift every night. Hang in there! :)

I'd say 8ish weeks when his sleep was more predictable ... and then things really improved at 12ish weeks when he started having an earlier bedtime that would consistently give me a few hours in the evening to myself.

Ummm.... LO is over 7 months old and I don't get a minute to myself! She's more than eat, sleep, and poop now though. I feel like at 3 months things started getting easier.

Life started getting better at 6 weeks. Lo started sleeping 6 hour stretchesat night. I think babies start getting fun around month 4. More play time between eating and sleeping.

I know that's the life of a parent with a newborn, but what age do you feel that you could catch more than 5 minutes for yourself during the day?
