Just wanted to report that even though this does not make sense, I did the elliptical trainer tonight and it made my RLP feel better? Like significantly so! I don't get it, but I felt much better on the ET and after I was done working out!

Thanks everyone! I am going to look into the body pillow....

I think the heaviness is the most bothersome. It feels really uncomfortable when I also have to pee. Just annoying pressure I could do without. Is this what you guys feel sometimes too?

This is depressing :( I started having them really bad at 10 weeks, you mean I have 30+ more weeks of this! I have the dull persistent kind as well, sharp sometimes if I move strangely.

still feelin' it at 27 weeks --- it flares up from time to time. It will be bad for a couple days, then disappear! I was also hoping it would go away completely!

I'm 29 weeks and am still having them! When I talked to my doc about it, she said to just take tylenol if it became too bad. I've generally avoided that, but sometimes it's so bad... And now that I've read here that it stays post-partum, I am so not excited!

***Definitely ask your doc about what medications to take, I know tylenol is fine, but it's always good to check w/ your doc.

So I hate to keep whining about this RLP, but Dude!!! It literally won't stop and my stomach feels so tight! It just feels tight with a heaviness in it, and this annoying dull ache/crampy feeling! Harper just nailed me 3x in a row as I typed this, so I know she's snug as a bug in there, but geez- will the RLP let up and leave me in peace already?!?

I told DH I'm imagining Harper as a little baby Incredible Hulk... like how when he "turns" he gets huge and rips out of all his clothes bc they're too small? That's what I envision her doing to my Ute right now! Ripping it to shreds while she gets huge all of a sudden!!!!

@Running Elley: Yeah - the shooting pains I can handle, bc I'm like "Oh, it's just stupid RLP." But the dull deep aches make me worry that something's wrong...I start to slightly get paranoid about PTL or just anything awful in general- ugh!

Honestly when I read the title of your post i'm like....uh,never?
Mine hasn't gone away and I'm at 28+2.
It isn't everyday but when it comes it is strong and for a few days. That's how I KNOW I am going through a mini-growth spurt. And at 20w...you should be going through a growth spurt around now too;)

Just wait until your pelvis starts expanding and your ribs are cramped....I think all this stuff is just what comes with the territory.
I usually just take a hot shower and lay down on one side with a pillow in between my knees and relax more than usual for the whole couple of days of my growth spurt.

I haven't had RLP in like a week or so...nothing noticeable anyway (I'm 20w2d). Yesterday and today it came back in a mega way...I didn't really have the sharp pains, it was just a very heavy dull ache...Like borderline bothersome! I feel her kicking so I know she's just fine in there, but when does RLP go away? Even though I KNOW that's all it is, it still just worries me sometimes, especially when it's more noticeable like yesterday and today. Is this just a constant I should continue to expect in waves as I grow, or will it go away?
