Have you tried offering a teething ring or something like a mum mum after an *attack* to try to redirect the behavior? It sounds like he is just exploring with his mouth. I'm convinced I am raising a tiny zombie who lunges himself at any glimpse of bare flesh. DH and I are literally covered in bruises. I'm scared to let anyone else hold him in fear that they will become his next victim. It's bad. </p> <p>He's only 8 months, so I don't think he understands when we say, "No, we don't bite." His little daggers hurt, so we sometimes yelp out of pain, which causes a total meltdown on his behalf. It's a mess.</p> <p>How long does this stage last? I am not exaggerating when I say that I spend a good portion of my day dodging his attacks. </p> <p>He is lucky he is cute. </p>
