The only reason I saw the wreaths was because my delicious Chipotle has a mall entrance &amp; I could see through into the mall. The wreaths even had lights on them...which only made me angrier. But Christmas season doesn't start until Christmas itself... I do know some people who take this very seriously and hate to hear Christmas music in advance of Christmas itself (eg. Joy to the World = Christmas as opposed to O Come O Come Emmanuel = Advent). The feast of Christmas then continues for 8 days (an "octave") and the season even beyond that, into mid January or even February. Most people don't make that distinction, I realize.
