I would say around 6 months naps got more predictable and more on a time based schedule. When she dropped to 2 naps and then 1 nap, it became even easier!

definitely by five months? DS was napping 3-4x a day from month 3-4... we thankfully only had a few days of the 4 month regression...and he was back to his 3-4 nap schedule...and down to 3 mostly predictable naps by five months!

Please tell me it's not long after 4 months? The only thing that is predictable right now is that LO will take a nap at around 9am, 1.5hrs after I get her up at 7.30am. From then on every day is different, the times and duration of naps...then bedtime is anywhere from 5.45pm to 7pm depending on the last nap ending.

It is near impossible to schedule play dates or going to activities with LO because I never know whether she will be awake or sleeping at any time! Also it's getting harder to just wing it with naps on the go, because she only takes decent naps in her cot or in the car on long journeys.

The main reason for asking is I'm trying to schedule her 6mth photoshoot for March and I just don't know what time of day to aim for!
