I've started forming it into a little heart and tossing it in the dehydrator, and then I put it in a little velvet bag for them.<br /> Personally, I wouldn't want a dried umbilical cord as a keepsake. The first snowfall came yesterday but it was really sunny this morning, so I took LO out for a walk. Her first walk in freezing temps! She's super cozy in her bundler and fell straight to sleep. I had her sleeping on the deck in the backyard and even walked inside for 2 mins while I boiled water for my latte (I have a fast kettle)! </p> <p>I finally brought her inside because, get this, it's too sunny and I'm afraid she'd get sunburned! Wahhhh ... How about some odd cultural practices that your parents did with you as a child? Will you do the same for your LO? </p>
