I have never worked for a company that would allow you to make your own hours. My company used to let people work slightly earlier but then decided they want everyone here until 5pm. I'm usually more like 430 but on occasion it can be 4. DH and I commute together and Daycare is near our home and my in-laws for emergencies.. It's a long day but with our commutes there's not much else we can do. We have long commutes and both work in the city full time... but after being a SAHM I think I am immune to the guilt.
