First pregnancy it was always a grilled cheese sandwich, it was about the only thing I could stomach. and it had to be the gross processed Kraft singles, no real cheese would do ;)

This pregnancy, the beginning was granola bars and lots of fruit and mozzarella cheese sticks. I'm trying to be healthier to avoid gaining as much weight as I did last time ;)

Cheese and crackers (with pepperoni if i have some) and bananas with peanut butter are my two faves. Even during the first trimester when nothing sounded good I could still eat those!

@blackbird: My favorite place is Wow Bao here in the city. I usually do potstickers and an Asian salad. Since the salad has sprouts, I avoid it in favor of their chicken noodle soup. It's done wonders so far with this constant nausea.

My favorite first trimester food is potstickers and soup. I'm already hitting up my favorite place up quite a bit. Potstickers are one of the few things that my stomach likes in pregnancy.

@blackbird: I am having the exact same issue. I'm surviving on bagels, English muffins, yogurt, and cheese. Pizza works really well for some reason. I'm also having am aversion to cooking (the smells, the standing up, the looking at uncooked ingredients!) so poor vegetarian DH is surviving on oatmeal and Amy's frozen dinners.

Right now I'm eating Wheat Thins out if the box. I feel like I have such an unhealthy relationship with food right now :(

@blackbird: i'm due may 7. I'm there with you! my go-tos are fruit, popsicles, and of course pizza! pizza doesn't have to be that unhealthy! I am enjoying a lot of frozen veggie pizza right now, like Newman's Own brand, and the Kroger upscale version (on sale this week!).

How about avocado on crusty bread? Does that sound good? Carbs with something simple always worked for me. Also, rice. Plain white rice tastes so good when nothing else will do, at least for me.

I'm going to the store today so I may pick that up. I feel like I could use a snack at work and granola bars just don't really do it for me.

I must have missed that you were pregnant, Congratulations!

The only things I had serious aversions to were eggs and broccoli, but I was mildly nauseated for the first tri. The thing that helped me the most was a big glass of root beer, and I ate a lot of creamy dairy products - cream cheese on toast, sour cream (i made a dip for veggies) and greek yogurt.

What do you reach for?

I'm having food aversions to basically everything. Eating lots of fruit, jello, yogurt, bagels, and cereal lately. Nothing sounds good. If i wasn't hungry, this would be easier! I'm struggling to come up with an idea for dinner. Maybe a smoothie. Maybe a broccoli chicken rice casserole because at least I know E will eat it. I thought about picking up some curry, it sounds *mildly* sounds appealing. Browsing pinterest is like food overload, it's just too much.

You'd think if everything sounds bad, it'd be a good time to just eat healthy. Nope. It all sounds like cat food to me.

Ideas plz
