Don't worry about it. Being stressed over these stories is probably more harmful than whatever sent you to the ER. I have a co-worker who is lacking in the social skills department who was constantly telling me horror stories. I would be polite and listen, but by week 35 I was over it (and pretty much everything else) and I let her know how I felt about her stories. It was the best thing I could have done. She got the memo loud and clear and didn't waste my time with stupid stories again. Life is too short to worry (or to let someone worry you).

I know how you feel! People would always tell me their scary stories (or scary stories that they've heard) and they always would freak me out. This is also another reason why I shouldn't be researching on the internet. People post scary stories online all the time! You tested negative for amniotic fluid twice so I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone has a scary story and they're usually super rare occurrences!

You may have seen I had a little scare today with some watery discharge. But they tested me for amniotic fluid at the ER and it was negative. Baby sounded good too so I was feeling really good about the results. Well I just talked to me neighbor who lost twins at 20 weeks and then had her daughter at 25 weeks. And she was telling me I should get a second opinion because when her water broke with the twins they told her it was nothing to worry about and sent her home and then she was leeking for weeks and eventually lost the babies. I'm sure that was really scary for her and so it makes her extra cautious but I feel like people need to be more careful about scaring others!! I mean.. They tested me for amniotic fluid and it was negative.. Twice! I have to trust their judgement and I do. But now she has scared me. Uuhhhhhh.
