It was perfect. I had some extra chunk but my belly was out there large and in charge. I think it depends on how comfortable you are with yourself. I wouldn't have felt comfortable doing them any later. BUT, I do know that you don't want to wait until you are too big... a friend spent A LOT of money on hers and the only thing you can notice looking at them is how huge and uncomfortable she looks! Our photographer suggested 32/33 weeks as well. I think if you go much past 32/33 weeks you have the possibility of being very uncomfortable. I did mine at 26 because I have a pretty significant twin bump and didn't want to be uncomfortable.
