Thanks everyone! I have a bit of a doctor-phobia, but I guess that I should get over that soon or it is going to be a long next 31 weeks.

I would definitely call! I had some early bleeding, and things turned out to be OK. But with that amount of blood (or really, anytime you're unsure), I think it is FAR better to call and it be nothing than not call and it be something.

With that amount of bleeding, you should never hesitate to call. It could be nothing, but it's not worth the risking any harm to your baby because it already stopped.

I would call! It's always better to be safe than sorry! It's probably nothing to be worried about, but they'll want to check you anyway.

I absolutely think you should call. I had quite a bit of spotting during my health pregnancy, but I know I felt much better once I saw DD on the u/s and had my MW tell me how common it is.

It may not be anything to worry about, but I would call. I had heavy spotting/light bleeding yesterday. They had me come in today for an ultrasound. Turns out I have a partial placenta previa, which means my placenta is partially covering my cervix. I need to be more cautious with my activity level, no heavy lifting, and no intercourse. I am glad I went and found out how to try and prevent bleeding in the future.

I had bright red bleeding (and quite a bit) at 12 weeks with LO. I was worried and the ob on call said "bleeding can be a normal symptom in 25percent of healthy pregnancies." I went in anyway and got to see DD dancing on an ultrasound :) My own ob, a more serious type, said she preferred to say, "bleeding can occur without consequence in 25percent of healthy pregnancies." I am all for calling if you think you should or if it will make you feel better. Calling can't hurt.

I would DEFINITELY call with that much blood. You may have a sub chronic hemorrage that needs to be monitored.

On Saturday morning, I had a difficult bowel movement. When I was wiping, there was a significant amount of vaginal bleeding (sorry, tmi, but the toilet paper looked like I had wiped on day 1 or 2 of my period, and there was blood in the toilet bowl). We were travelling out of state with some friends for the weekend, so I did not call my doctor because I wouldn't have been able to go in for a check anyways. I had some brown blood in my panties later in the day, but no more red blood, no cramping or pain, and nothing on Sunday. I'm wondering if I should call my doctor today now that I am back at home? My husband thinks I should, but I know that spotting can be pretty common. It seemed like a lot of blood at first, but there has been nothing since then, so I'm just really not sure how much I should be worried.
