@Mrs Green Grass: It's supposed to be 36 hours but I don't know when you start surging beforehand. I get that I can't do anything until DH gets home but I just can't figure out if I should do it tonight or tomorrow...

@crazydoglady: I think all REs have different thoughts on it but mine always said there was no need to trigger if your LH was already surging. You will ovulate all mature follicles with your natural surge.

It won't hurt anything to trigger but your since your LH is already surging, you will ovulate based on that and not when you use the trigger. I hope that makes sense! So the trigger won't delay ovulation if that what you are hoping for.

Either way you can't dtd until your DH is home. So either wait to trigger to match. Also the egg is still good for at least 24 hours so the timing should actually be ok. I can't remember exactly how fast you O after trigger...

@mrskansas: My doctor told me to use ovidrel once I got a positive opk to make sure I ovulated and to release all my mature follicles. Is that not right?

If you are already ovulating I wouldn't even trigger at all. Ovidrel doesn't go bad (if thats what you have) so you can save it for when you need it.
You may ovulate before your husband gets home so BD asap!

So, I had two 13mm follicles on Wednesday and my doctor was sure I wouldn't O until Monday or Tuesday. So, I tested this morning on an advanced digital opk and it was peak fertility like it has been the past few days. I just took another (cheapie) and it was blazing positive.
The problem is, DH is out of town until tomorrow afternoon. My doctor told me to trigger when I got a positive but should I wait until the morning or do it now since DH won't be home until then? I have no clue what to do. Any advice would be appreciated very much.
