Well, she started waking up on her own right before my mom went in to wake her. She seems fine, if a bit dazed and very wet!

My older daughter did this a ton when she had ear infections as a baby. It was like sleep was all that made her happy. I usually woke her around 11ish and tried to get in an afternoon nap, but made sure to wake her early enough from that that it didn’t mess with nighttime sleep.

Yes, it is SO hard to wake a sleeping baby!!

@kiddosc: Good point. Don't want her on a completely backwards schedule! It is SO hard to wake a comfortably sleeping baby! Although I know she has to have leaked through her diaper by now.

I would probably wake her up now, encourage her to eat lunch and then try to put her back down at a typical afternoon nap time. I know she needs the sleep, but I'd be worried about messing up sleep for tonight.

N has an ear infection and a nasty cold/cough. She started antibiotics 2 days ago, so I think they're starting to kick in now. After a restless night and a bottle at 5:30 this morning, she went back down and has been sound asleep ever since. It's 11 am. I'm at work watching her on the monitor freaking out a little bit. My mom will wake her if I ask, but has been checking and says she's not hot, not flushed, seems comfortable. Just sleeping. Do I need to wake her??? We are at 16 hours total now...she's 10 months.
