I would do 1st or 2nd week of November. Lots of holiday parties and gift exchanges happen between Thanksgiving through Christmas. I had one at 28 weeks and another at 32 weeks. I didn't want to do close to Thanksgiving or in December due to holiday parties. It worked well. My friends could only make an early shower so mine was held when I was 28 weeks! You could also do it the weekend after Thanksgiving if you have friends/family that live out of town but will be in town for Thanksgiving, that way they only have to travel once.
