My son just went to 2 birthday parties last weekend that we got the invites about 4-5 days before. He just came home with an invitation today that is for Friday afternoon which I'm considering just saying no on principle. We've got a place booked and invites made. My question is - when do I actually distribute the invitations? I want to give them out early enough that people hopefully won't already be booked and be able to come, but not so early that people forget about the party altogether by the time it comes around? Thoughts? </p>
