I think I introduced about 4.5 months. A little
After the 6 month mark he wasn't interested in it because he wanted to get moving. We eventually caved in and bought him a walker, something I didn't use for my daughter. But my son got too heavy to carry around the house

We got the exersaucer at 4 months, but he didn't really know what to do with until 5. Now at 6 months, he's a pro! We borrowed a jumparoo from a neighbor when he was 5.5 months, and he LOVES that thing! The bouncing is perfect for him.

We haven't used the exersaucer at home, but day care will put her in for like 10 mins at a time. Cause she loves to me able to see everything, nosy little thing, and standing. I think I am going to get ours from the basement and clean it, my nephews old one, and see how she does. I will prop her with pillows if I need too. We will sit there with her till I know she is ok by herself.

5 months for the jumperoo. We had the exersaucer around the same time, but he didn't get into the exersaucer until about 6-6.5 months when he had the manual dexterity to manipulate the toys on it. Before that, he massively preferred the jumperoo. Like others, we only l eft him in it for 10 minutes at a time.

Technically they aren't advised at all. Babies shouldn't really be putting any weight on their hips (per OT). But my husband was dying to use one so I let him put lo in their occasionally for 10 mins max. We started around 5 months. We position is so that he can't touch the ground because it can cause foot problems from always pushing off the toes (as well as causing uneven core development). Just FYI...I know everyone uses them.

Around 4 months we started putting him in for about 10 min at a stretch? Then when his head control got really good we put him in there for longer.

He started the jumparoo at daycare around 5 months. They call him "Lord of the Dance," ha.

Around 5 months I think? It was a lifesaver from then to about 8 months. Although I just saw a FB friend who put her LO in at three weeks...yikes!

some people start as early as 4 months, but charlie didn't get into it until 6 months. olive was behind with physical milestones so i'm sure we didn't put her in before 6 months either.

4 months for the exersaucer, 5 months for the jumperoo. I think the main consideration is head/neck control. LO was holding her head very steadily by 3 months, but I still waited, and even prolonged the jumperoo just to be extra cautious. She loves both of them, but especially the jumperoo!

We put her in at 2.5 months. She did the same loved jumping and standing so in she went. We piled books underneath her feet so she could reach. She didn't jump too much at the beginning but she loved just standing and staring at the toys.

6 months, but I know people that have propped up their babies and put them in earlier. I also severly limited the time he could be in there, no more than 10 minutes at at time.

6 months. I think the rule of thumb is that the child should be sitting up reliably before introducing it. I could be wrong though.

LO is 3 months old and loves to "stand" on our laps and "jump" and kick. He loves to grab for our hands, my hair, some toys, etc. and he LOVES to be upright to see what's going on. He has excellent head control but isn't sitting up or rolling (lol I'd be amazed if he were!)

I was thinking about getting an exersaucer or jumperoo but he seems too young. I was just curious when you introduced something like that.
