I would go for water, rice, crackers, etc as well. Poor baby. :(

Maybe some brothy soups if you have any?

I think the system you have is good. Everything I've read says to let kids eat small amounts if they ask for it. Maybe try something more bland. Plain dry toast or rice. Could be there is too much sugar/salt in the cheerios and crackers.

Can you offer a popsicle - I would stay away from food

Try some plain rice in a few hours

I'm so sorry, we just went through this (literally...)

I would give her food when she asks and be prepared for the end result. Our 2 year old was pretty good about coming up to us and telling us her belly hurt before vomiting all over herself. :( I hope she gets over it soon and you don't get it.

@blackbird: she asks and then it just comes right back up. No pedialyte at the house :( DH and E are also sick so I'm not sure I can even leave the house...

Oh noooo poor babies. If she's asking for food, I would give her something, but very small amounts. And I'd keep a cup of pedialyte nearby at all times. I would wait a couple of hours before introducing food again...maybe a nice long nap will help.

LO is two and has been vomiting since 7:30 this morning. I waited a good two hours before trying Cheerios and those came back up. I waited a little longer and she begged for crackers. Those also came up. So now I'm wondering how long I should wait before letting her try something small to eat again.
