Kinda sad to be melting my frozen stash 2 bags at a time :( but we introduced cow's milk in a straw cup at meals over the weekend and LMW loved it and had no bad reactions to it. So the breastmilk days are coming to an end... quickly!!! Woohoo!! I think I spent a full 6 months painfully engorged with my first baby. My boobs have finally gotten used to it... just in time for me to stop. But I may switch to 10 and 10 on the weekends so that I'm not rushing to pump at 7pm after being out and about all day. We'll see.</p> <p>@LaineysMom: Sooooo the initial verdict of 4 days of dropping to 2 pumps:</p> <p>My output for the 4 days before (with 3 pumps a day):<br /> 16.5, 17, 15.8, 16.3</p> <p>My output for the past 4 days (with 3 pumps a day):<br /> 11, 13.3, 11, 10</p> <p>So the drop is a few more ounces than I was expecting. :( Even though this makes me kinda sad, it's a good thing because I'm aiming to dry up right before her 1st birthday, which is in just under a month. YIKES.</p> <p>Right now I'm melting one frozen stash bag a day and that will definitely take me to her birthday, so that's great. I've been pumping 3 times a day, at 7am, 3pm, and 11pm. I'd like to cut down to 2 pumps a day starting today, and I'm debating how to time them. </p> <p>I could pump first thing in the morning and 7pm after putting the kids to bed. The advantage to this is that I can fall into bed at night without having to pump! The disadvantage is that an after kids bedtime pump around 7pm can be tough if we haven't eaten dinner with the kids. </p> <p>Or I could pump at work at 10am and 10pm before bed. The advantage to this is cutting down on the morning routine time! But the disadvantage is that I still have to pump before going to bed. </p> <p>My work hours are 8-4, and we usually try to be in bed, ready to sleep by 11pm at the latest. We try to get up by 6:30am every morning. I don't mind pumping at work, since it would only be the one session if I chose to make one of the two pumps at work.</p> <p>Vote below! </p>
