Then just before I was due got another cough that lasted three weeks. I did find the nasal saline rinses helped a bit. As did gargling with salt water. Went to dr and they said it was a virus so gotta let it run it's course. I'd go back and see the doctor. You don't want it to become more serious. I've had what seems like a cold for the last 4 weeks. Stuffy, runny nose, and coughing. The coughing sometimes wakes me up. It's a dry cough. I went to the doctor two weeks ago and he said it's a cold and gave me antibiotics. I didn't take them as a virus doesn't need antibiotics. I don't have a fever. Should I go back to the docotr though because I haven't gotten better? Or could I just have caught another cold and never had time between? </p>
