I was using FF for about 4 months before my BFP. I input my old AF information (I didn't have any ovulation info to put in) for the past year ... I still don't think FF was TOTALLY accurate on my O date, but obviously once I was charting, it would catch up.

I started using FF about 5 months before we TTC. But after a month of charting, I was sick of taking my temps every morning when we weren't actively trying. So I just tracked my periods to get an average cycle day. When we decided to TTC, I started taking temps again and OPKs and entering the info again on FF. We got lucky that first try!

I found a great deal on fertility friend VIP membership several months ago, but wasn't ready to start TTC. I put the membership on hold with plans to start using it once trying, and have been charting with a different free app, with plans to switch once I have my paragard removed. How much in advance would you start using fertility friend? Does it need some time to be effective? FWIW, my cycle is regular, 25 days, and I usually ovulate around day 15.
