@MrsF: me too. I am almost scared to take him out in public! He's pretty happy overall just the lack of pee has me getting more concerned. Thanks for the info!

Poor baby and mama :( My go-to book (Baby 411) says to be concerned if you have fewer than 3 pee diapers in 24 hours (so pretty much what @luckypenny said), baby is lethargic, blood / mucous in stool or diarrhea lasting more than a week. They also say to hold off on solids and slowly add then back after the diarrhea is resolved. Hope this runs its course quickly!

@luckypenny: yes in small amounts yesterday. Will probably do again tomorrow if he wakes up with no pee diaper!

I think the rule is one pee diaper every 6 or 8 hours. Have you tried pedialyte?

I wish there were a handbook for this sort of thing!
Hes 10.5 months old. dS started getting a clear runny nose on Sunday and was really snugly and slept more than norm. He had 6 poopy diapers compared to 1-2 and as the day went on they went from solid to more and more loose.
Monday more runny nose and got yellowy snot. More loose poop--prob 6 or so. he's had a ton of water to drink but diarrhea diapers abound, his food is going right through him. He's only had 2 pee diapers--1 this morning and another around 3. What to do?
