A year.
I had some complications from my episiotomy, abdominal separation, held onto a bit of weight while nursing. By the time he turned one each of these issues had lessened and I started to feel like me.

I would say probably 4-5 months? Breastfeeding definitely helped with taking the weight off and I weigh less now (at 7 months pp) than I have in a looong time. I haven't noticed any sensitivities; and some sit-ups wouldn't hurt but that's no different than before.

Not till I weaned when LO was 13 months, tbh. And even then, my stretch marks were still visible and I was 10 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight. But 10 lbs isn't so bad, so I felt more or less like my normal self once my boobs were done.

Each one was different. With my first it was a very dramatic exit for her and that caused me a lot of problems so it was probably 6 months or so. Second one was closer to 4 months and this last time I was good to go in a month. BC at 4 weeks PP and resumed all previous activities at 4 works PP.

*Side note I've always been thicker or on the heavier side so if flat bellies or things like that are the issue I can't relate. I always had some belly.

I felt pretty much normal after the year mark. Before that I wouldn't say I wasn't healed and I felt good, but some things were definitely still different. I BF past a year so I wonder if that was part of it too.

When did you feel like your body was as close as possible to what it was pre-pregnancy?

I'm nine months postpartum now and my stomach still looks like I used to weigh a couple more hundred pounds. Just wondering if it will ever feel "normal" again. Also, it's still sensitive to the touch on occasion. It's usually more when one of the kids jumps on me or something.
