He was a bald baby so it took awhile for his hair to come in. After I had it cut, I did wonder why I didn't do it sooner. He looks so cute with his baby boy haircut. She wants to cut it but her husband is determined they don't. Poor kid looks like a girl and is often confused for one. It surprises me her DH doesn't want it but since he is such a man's man. I'm thinking about using that approach. At the least it would be an excuse to not cut it when I'm not ready, since from what ya'll are saying that might happen! It's an old wives tale in the Latin culture that you have to wait until they are older than one to cut their hair or they will be mute. To be fair, she was pretty bald for a long time and now has a mess of curls so it's not even shoulder length when dry and curly. Plus the back is tight curls so no mullet! Now that summer is on the way out and the humidity is decreasing the curls are turning into a mullet :crying: Sadly they will be cut off on Tuesday. He will be 16 months exact!y. It was a little shorter than I liked but it's already getting long again.
