I had Graves disease a couple years ago and now that I'm pregnant I have to get my thyroid levels checked every 4 weeks to monitor function. Luckily, my levels are normal this time but I did test positive for thyroid antibodies so I'm slightly worried about that. I joke that drawing my blood must be really easy at this point- I have an X marks the spot! I used to be really nervous about getting it done but now it just feels routine.
