The last framed ones I have were from 2 years ago, but we're taking some new photos in September with our new LO. I hope to take photos every year, and our photographer is only $80/session with dvd so can't go wrong with that! We had booked a photographer doing fall mini sessions for less than $100, and they were awesome. I'd love to get some updated photos within the next year or so. I'll do individual shots when LO2 turns 1. but then just stick with annual photos. For DH and I, our last professional photos were our wedding photos, 5 years ago. My parents, siblings, and our spouses took professional photos while I was pregnant with DD. I'm planning to do a newborn/ family shoot after this baby is born, but that will make it right around Christmas so I'm hoping the timing can work out. @regberadaisy: same- the ones I love are so expensive and the ones that are cheaper are just ok. I wish I could use the same lovely woman to do our pics again this time, but she's gotten so much more experience and developed so much more talent that we can't afford her anymore! We have family pictures planned for September with a new photographer and I'm very much looking forward to having a professional get some shots of us as a family at this point in our lives.
