I am a much more sane person if i get some me time. Usually its just errands or grocery shopping. Usually we go see friends together, or i meet up with girl friends during the day. Dh doesnt go out on his own as much, outside of work. Lol but I finally got a moms night out for a couple hours at a painting party. It was so fun, I have always been a painter but it is so hard to keep up with now that I have a kid. DH gets alone time pretty frequently, he just goes to the basement and works on side-projects, or has alone time listening to music while I put LO down for bed /naps. Since then, I am not sure I have done anything that wasn't work without LO. DH goes to the gym with friends daily. Dh came home early to stay with LO so I could go get my hair cut. The salon is awesome-- they have a very spa-like feel and do a paraffin wrap on my hands and a scalp massage... free cookies and refreshments... On my way home I turned the music up loud and sang along and actually went INTO the gas station to get some iced tea. I browsed and tried on clothes at Kohl's, TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack and ended the night at Target for some grocery items. DH went to a fantasy football draft party with friends last week. They drank beers, ate and hung out!
