I've never served on a county jury. I was able to reschedule it a few months later. I was chosen for a jury and the trial lasted two days. Turns out the date they gave me was 9/12/2001. Needless to say, I didn't go in.</p> <p>And the second time I was called was for a huge trial that was all over the media and lasted several weeks. They called a ton of people, and I was able to say that I'm self employed and can't be away from my business for that long. Since moving back? Nothing. I wouldn't mind as long as I'm not nursing/about to give birth. I participate as a witness or juror in a lot of mock trials (my dad is a lawyer and teaches at an annual trial school/coaches a trial team).
