We had a sitter 1-10pm and celebrated my birthday with lunch, a movie and a party at a friend's house. So fun! Date nights and adult time is really important to us. I pretty much hit the ground running when we moved away from family to find sitters. I was surprised by how many people I asked said they almost never go out without their children. Honestly, for us that is not an option! We have never hired a sitter, but we do occasionally trade services with other parents!
