We went out to breakfast with some friends and he was so fussy. So I took him out of his high chair and sure enough, fell asleep on me. It was so sweet. He's nearly 17 months so it's very rare these days. I picked her up from daycare just before nap and she kept crying "snuzzle (snuggle) mommy!" so I held her for her whole nap that day, and the next. It was so sweet, especially when her baby sister in my tummy kept kicking her. It was the day after we found out that our first IVF embryo transfer didn't work and she must have just knew how much her mommy needed some comfort. The last time D fell asleep in my arms was a couple of months ago when he was sick. He and A both passed out cold in my arms on my bed. I tried everything and nothing was working, and then she climbed into my arms and instantly passed out. I had forgotten how wonderful it feels to hold a sleeping child! However she's way heavier than she was back in the day, and after an hour I had to put her into bed and make my escape!!
