@autumn865: my day sounds exactly like yours only we haven't hit full on melt down mode yet. We're two hours into a four hour drive and she's waking up every fifteen minutes. Fingers crossed!!

About an hour ago after a long day of up at 6am, church, bad naps, driving long distances in the car to my parents and being passed around between family and friemds. We were making our two hour drive home and she screamed bloody murder the whole time :-(

About 3 minutes ago. She didn't want to get in the car. She's 20 months though so they're pretty normal, terrible 2's started a little early.

After 3 days of Easter festivities and lots of candy, given by grandparents and other family members (including me), and a few nights of staying up late, DS had his meltdown today.

I saw it coming during dinner at my parents, due to his extra obnoxious behavior, but during the Easter egg hunt with his cousin, he was getting WAY sensitive to every little conflict. After a few mini fits, he finally melted down and blew up. Screaming, crying, acting like the world was ending. We promptly ended the egg hunt and told my parents thanks for the lovely dinner and left, screaming kid in tow.

*sigh* Happy Easter, indeed...

What was your LO's last meltdown about?
