Mine was scheduled for 6 weeks but I ended up going in at 5 because I had bleeding. It was more for my peace of mind because I was paranoid it was ectopic. We saw the sac at 5 and the heartbeat at 6. Then they had me come in for one more at7 weeks because I started bleeding bright red AT my 6 week appointment lol. When all was still well at 7 weeks(thf bleeding also stopped by then) they did my pelvic exam.

7 weeks, 6 days. There is a lot more to see on an ultrasound the later the appointment is (like a heartbeat) . Early on they can do a blood test to confirm, but the HPTs are so accurate now that there isnt much point. The wait until the first appointment is agony but I'm glad we didn't go in any earlier, and do an ultrasound that couldn't show much. That would have made me worry more.

Congrats! I went in for blood work and a quick exam at almost 6 weeks. Then my first ultrasound was at almost 8 weeks.

I called on Thursday and got an appt the following Tuesday. I was 6 weeks. I saw the ob, had a pelvic exam, t/v ultrasound, and the typical height/weight/bp/urine, plus 6 vials of blood taken. My dr is very hands-on during the first trimester, so I saw them every two weeks through week 12, but not every practice is like that.

Congratulations!
My first appt was at 8 weeks. Saw the doc, did the ultrasound and bloodwork. My ob did the pap at the 12 week appt since there is so much going on at first. Our EDD was by lmp and they only changed it if baby measured more than a week off so ours never changed. There are lots of online EDD calcuulators out there. Good luck!

Mine was at about 7 weeks. The U/S dated me at 6w2d but at the next ultrasound my date was moved up 4 days. It was, however, about 8 weeks by LMP since I didn't have 28 day cycles.

The appointment included: packet of basic information/hospital information, blood pressure, weight, urine sample, and ultrasound (the internal one.) On the ultrasound the baby looked like a little blob with a flicker that was an early heartbeat! Also some doctors give out the heart rate, but mine has only told me the specific heart rate once my entire pregnancy (and the U/S tech twice out of three times that I saw her) so you might have to ask if you want more specific information than they give on their own! I don't know if anyone has said this, but definitely write down your questions especially if you are forgetful- for me it was an emotional first couple of appointments, lots of excitement!

Every appointment since has included bp, weight, urine, checking in w/ the doctor, and starting at 11w, listening to the heartbeat!

I had blood tests at 5 weeks to make sure hcg was doubling because I had a prior miscarriage and some spotting. I also met with the NP at that point for a pelvic exam and to talk about dos and donts and any questions I had. I had my first ultrasound and Dr's appt at 8 weeks (this is typically the first appt at my OBs office if you don't have complications like me).

We were 9 weeks. I got a pelvic exam, breast exam, and then an ultrasound to see the baby. This was done by the PA. We didn't see the OB until the second trimester I think.

I had a consultation/interview to see if I like the midwives at 4 weeks, first appointment was at 10 weeks. She weighed me, did a urine and blood test, and talked to me for about an hour about all my questions and diet.

My first official meeting with my midwife was around 12 weeks. She recorded my blood pressure and weight, listened to the baby's heartbeat, and talked through all the important points about that stage of pregnancy. We'd calculated an EDD in earlier weeks, based on LMP (I haven't had any ultrasounds). No blood test until 18ish weeks.

At 8 weeks. I had an ultrasound and we were able to see the heartbeat and the embyro. I also had a ton of blood drawn for testing. My EDD was based on my last period.

I went in at 5 weeks 4 days and the dr. said the front desk people should have made it for the following week. They could barely see anything on the ultrasound so I came back the following week and they gave me the EDD. They didn't do a blood test.

Congratulations! They said an at home test was the same as theirs so they set me up with an Appt with nurse practitioner at 8 weeks to fill paperwork, and get bloodwork. Also got basic info!

First appt with doctor, including pap and dating US was 10 weeks.
