I was going 75 in a 65 on the highway. Highway Patrol was on the other side going the OPPOSITE direction and clocked me apparently. Even though I was going with the flow of traffic. He followed me into town and pulled me over.</p> <p>That was the only speeding ticket I ever got. The last one i got was in 2005. Must have jinxed myself, because a few days later i got a notice in the mail...i was caught speeding by one of the many cameras in the city, going 76km in a 60km zone. I got a ticket for not yielding to pedestrians in the crosswalk. They weren't even in the street! They were close-ish to the corner (no stop sign). I consulted my aunt and she offered to pay for it, but I paid for my ticket and took defensive driving to make sure it didn't land on my driving record. I was so scared my parents would find out, I immediately went to the police department to pay for the ticket in cash so I could get my license back. I don't know if you can still do that??
