At my 14 week appointment she found it with the doppler. My OB won't try until 12 weeks bc he doesn't want to stress out his patients if he can't find it. She said no as you can't hear it until at least 10 weeks. She then felt my uterus during the exam and said hmm maybe we can hear it. So she tried and couldn't, lol. I was a bit worried but she assured me it's totally normal and rare to hear before 10 weeks. It also took a looong time, much longer than the OBs had ever tried. I'm 9 weeks today with my second and the OB couldn't pick up a heartbeat so I have to go back next week and try again. What is the earliest you were able to pick up a heartbeat through Doppler?
