We gave it a shot at about 4ish weeks, and it was no go. Hurt way too much. After my all clear doctor's appointment, we were good to go. We took it really slow. We tried that night and we were pretty unsuccessful...and for the next few times. It hurt super badly and I had only two internal stitches from some abraisions - no real tearing. It continued to hurt for months. I don't think I realized how much BFing would affect it and cause dryness. We tried that night and it hurt too much so we stopped tried a week later, took it super slow and used a ton of lube and it was say better. I'm kind of a weirdo, I've felt way sexier post baby than I ever did before, my DH says there is a confidence about me, I think knowing what my body did made me feel powerful. It hurt the first time from my episiotomy scar. Tried again at 7 weeks and it was smooth sailing after that!
