We used Blue Lizard on LO when we took her out on a beach vacation at 3.5 months, along with rashguard, sun hat, and sunglasses, and copious time inside a UV-blocking shade tent. We took her into a warm pool a few times for 10 minutes at a time, and again at 5 months on a different trip. My dr said to make sure it's well ventilated and if it's really chlorinated limit exposure. Wash off well after. We have a pool in our yard, and we bring her in all the time. Pediatrician was fine with it. She was fine. We only had her in the pool for short periods of time with a long sleeve bathing outfit thing. It wasn't 94 degrees or sunny at the time but he loved kicking his legs in it! You wouldn't stay in the water long and I would rinse her off right away, but for a short stretch it could be fun. Or, she could hate it and want to get it right away but you never know!</p> <p>Eta: I would also do a long sleeve rash guard and wide brim sun hat if it's in the sun at all. I asked the pediatrician and he didn't seem to have an opinion one way or the other. What do you think? It's going to be plenty warm today...it was 101 yesterday. I know they have those mommy and me classes... </p>
