Thanks, ladies. I'll wait until after. I don't plan to drink unless I'm on my period (a BFN wouldn't change that, because of the possibility of a false negative), so it really wouldn't change much - except the level of attention I give to the honeymoon. If it's a BFP after, then it can be a Christmas "present".

Me personally, I was a testing machine most months. I had vacations during two of my TWW's and tested before, during, and after vacation. That was a little excessive though! I would test before and if no BFP, wait until after you get home. And ENJOY your vacation!

i think you will still wonder if you might be even if you get a bfn so i am not sure it will make much difference either way. personally i am not good at waiting so i am sure i would test all three times. best of luck and no matter what try to enjoy your honeymoon! my hubby and i are having ours in December too, 6 months after we wed. Dec 8th-29th in South East Asia! enjoy!

I would definitely test before you go. If you're wondering the whole time, you won't really be able to enjoy your honeymoon. If you know before you go, you can either use your honeymoon as a distraction (in case of a BFN) or a celebration (in case of a BFP)! If you don't test, you'll just be distracted during your honeymoon wondering.

I would do it before if you are planning on drinking, and if negative, then on the day that it is due or a few days after.

I would do it during the honeymoon, because I think the suspense would kill me. I wouldn't test beforehand because you would be worried the whole time (if it's negative and wanting to re-test, and if it's positive, you wouldn't enjoy the honeymoon as much).

I'd also test towards the end because I would want to have as much fun as possible during the honeymoon-- drinking, dancing, doing fun spontaneous things. I think people start to worry too much as soon as they get that BFP.

I got my BFP at 11 DPO - I would definitely test before the honeymoon. I'm not a patient person...lol

If it was me... I would probably test before.... and then during.... and then after.... But that is just me lol.

I would suggest waiting until you are "late" or suspected to be late. That is always best for an accurate reading. Anything before then I wouldn't consider accurate.

I think that the best thing to do would be to wait until you get back from your honeymoon, especially since this is your first cycle off of BC so it'll probably be kind of unpredictable.

That being said, I know that personally I wouldn't have the patience to do that and I'd probably end up testing at 12DPO :)

We're going on our belated honeymoon on Dec. 11-17. Predicted O date is Nov. 28/29, which'd make the Saturday before ~12DPO. I've JUST come off BC, and my periods before BC had just normalized after about 10 years of being truly baffled by the phrase "monthlies." I wouldn't consider my period late until Dec. 21, at earliest.

So - would you test before AF is due, before the honeymoon? Or would you wait? On one hand - being so excited about baby/busy making plans that we don't take advantage of our honeymoon. On the other hand - wondering the whole time.

(This is purely theoretical, as I doubt we'll get pregnant in month one, and my body could break the habit of a lifetime and Aunt Flo could actually visit on time - the 6th.)
