If I'm offering it for free and ask to pay for the shipping, then I would appreciate it to be gifted. If there was ever a problem, I would issue a refund. The danger there is that if the person doesn't send the item then you have no ability to dispute the transaction. I guess a lot of people really trust their fellow transactees!
