We ask him to show us and he makes circles with his finger. 45 minutes full of crying and frustration later I finally figure out he wants "cereal". When I have NO IDEA what he's saying, I ask him to "Show me! Where is it? Can you point to it?". One time he was saying something that sounded like "bandaid box". So I said "Oh do you want a bandaid from the bandaid box?" and he kept shaking his head saying "Bandaid box! Bandaid box!". I asked him to show me where it was. He walks over to his toy chest and says "There it is! Bandaid box!". He was pointing to his blocks.
