I try to do something like surf on my phone while putting kids down, otherwise I may fall asleep until 11pm and then I can't sleep again till later (not to mention still have to make lunches, load dishwasher).. DH falls asleep All the time and it is sooo hard to wake him. He whines and I give up and then I hear him up at 3 am watching tv. So yes this totally messes us up !

Sometimes if I fall asleep while putting Charlie down, I am up for hours later! Usually it's not so bad though.

Mrs. Bee is a lot more sensitive. If she drifts off just for a minute or two, that can ruin her sleep all night!

When you drift off briefly while putting your kids down, does that ever prevent you falling asleep later?
