I don't save food, but I do share even my yummiest stuff with Wagon Jr. Usually it's something I don't let him have (chocolate, etc) but if it's something like a cheese danish or a piece of fruit I'll always share with him. Since he's coming out of his picky phase, watching him put something in his mouth and enjoying it makes me SO HAPPY.</p> <p>I do like to give Wagon Sr. bites of really yummy things but he usually just tells me to eat it. He's really unselfish with food... he's more about quantity than quality. Haha. </p> <p>Wagon Sr. always saves me good food. Sometimes he won't eat something just to bring it home to me, like a brownie or cookie for a meeting.</p> <p>We actually had an "issue" (hah) in the beginning of our relationship where we'd eat, I'd get full, and he'd leave the last bite or two uneaten. I'd yell at him to just finish it and he'd say he was too full and would want me to eat it, but I'd be way past done at that point. Both of us hate to waste food, especially yummy food, so we'd have all these tupperwares of 2 bites of burger in them, bags with 2 chips left, cookie containers with one cookie left, ALL over my apartment. One day I figured I'd get to the bottom of it so I just started yelling at him over and over, "why don't you just eat it?? just eat it!!" Eventually he said "I can't! I can't! I'm saving it for Brian!" then we both stopped and he said "...ohhh!!" Haha. He grew up always leaving the last bite for his little brother and it carried through subconsciously into adulthood when Brian wasn't even around. </p> <p>Haha. Normally most of the time DH and I are eating the same thing, so then I wouldn't need to save any for him. But I know that DH would definitely save something good for me. I grabbed an apple, cut it in half, peeled and ate it. I really wanted to eat the other half, but it's a REALLY GOOD apple!
