We got her a seat, it was a life saver. She was at the age where if she wasn't strapped in she would want to crawl around. She was so squirmy and fussy that I really think she would have fallen asleep easier in her car seat. We're flying international in may when she will be 13 months and you can bet she is getting her own seat! When you fly, do you get a seat for your LO or keep them in your lap? If we go I think I'd be leaning towards keeping him in my lap, but then I thought that an extra seat might be a smarter idea, but I don't want to pay for it, lol. In theory I'd hope the plane was empty enough that there would be an unfilled seat, but obviously I can't bank on or predict that.
