No, I tried and she won't open her mouth at all. I usually pump before bedtime since she goes to bed much earlier than me.

LO doesn't really take to dream feeds. If she's not hungry, she won't eat.

I don't. I considered it, but decided not to mess with it. Right now she goes to bed at 8 and wakes up for a feed at 4 or 5 and then goes back to sleep until 7:30/7:45. I go to bed at 10.

i tried a dream feed once and LO still woke up for his regular nighttime feed so i didn't do it again. i was also nervous about waking him up, and creating a dependency on the dream feed instead of allowing him to wean.

My dream feeds are not really "dream" feeds because Xander wakes up when I do them, but he falls right back asleep after, so it works!

I feed him every night at 9:00 p.m. (he's usually asleep by 7:30) and then I go to bed immediately and we both get 7+ hours of sleep after that. I started doing this when he was 11 weeks old! I definitely recommend it (though if your baby can't fall right back asleep after, it might not be worth it).

I tried it when she was sleeping from 7 till 2:30. I would feed around 10 but she was still waking at 2:30 so I gave up! It worked once or twice so I don't know. You can only try and see what happens!

I tried it, but she always woke up at the same time with or without the dream feed the few times I tried it out. It was stressful for me worrying about "what if I wake her up" too so I stopped. I didn't even attempt it with #2.

I tried twice and happened to be at times where for the life of me I could not wake him. I didn't want to force so just decided it doesn't work for us and he is the boss of when he eats

I have tried it and it worked amazingly a few times (she didn't wake up until 6 or 7 am those days), but usually she would wake up completely and then take a while to go back to sleep, so I decided it wasn't worth it. It never hurts to try!

I did a dream feed between 10 and 11. I did it until 8 months because I was afraid she would be hungry and wake me during the night. However, it is said that it is fine until 6 months. R was perfectly fine when I stopped :)

Do you ever do a dream feed before you go to bed?

Madeline just moved her bedtime earlier (yay!!! Hoping it sticks!!) so now I go to bed 1.5 hours after she's asleep. I'm so tempted to do a dream feed to get myself more sleep (she sleeps anywhere from 4-8 hours for her first stretch). But I'm thinking this might be a bad habit?

WWYD? She's 16 weeks old.
