My step-daughters didn't come. We went to visit my niece when he was 28 months old, and he wanted nothing to do with her. He was also very jealous when I tried to hold her. Now he loves her to pieces and treats her so well. Deere Boy was 26 months when Tractor Girl was born and he really didn't grasp the concept of having a new baby while I was pregnant, but when he came into the hospital room and saw me holding her the evening after she was born, he burst into the biggest grin and was soooooo excited. Waaaaaah! He visited twice while we were at the hospital. The first thing he said was, "you can run around with me now!!!" since I couldn't chase him when I was 30+ weeks pregnant lol.
