My parents viewed it as more of a hassle to enforce. Plus, most of my friends had curfews so I would just go home whenever they had to be home. My parents also really trusted me. Even then, I had to tell my parents exactly where I was going, call them when I got there, and be home at a specific not-to-late time. When I went away for university, the weekends/summers that I was home, I had a curfew of midnight. If I wasn't going to be home by then, I'd have to call and let my parents know and then one of them would stay up until I came home, which was their guilt tactic to get me home earlier. This went on until I moved out at age 26! Seriously! </p>
