No kids, but this morning dh woke me an hour and a half early getting ready for work, so I'm laying in bed playing on my phone. I should have gone to the gym, but I'm being lazy. 😬

Sometimes I clean, prep a meal, take an extra long shower, make eggs and stuff for breakfast, or just watch tv. Have an extra cup of coffee. I can't come to work early b/c DH comes in earlier than me, but I try to make the best of it :)

I usually just lay in bed longer even if I can't sleep. Or lately the baby won't go back to sleep in the rock and play but will snuggled into my arms, so I lay there and snuggle the sleeping baby. If I can't lay back down and rest I'll go make coffee and drink it hot, maybe watch the news.

Do you have flexible hours so you can leave early, too? That would be awesome! I remember when I was little, my dad went to work at 6a.m. and came home at 3 and I loved it. Now if I'm up early and can't sleep or something I'll go get a yummy breakfast on the way to work :-)

My son was having a period of 5am wakeups when he was a couple months old, so I would take him downstairs and watch TV until everyone else woke up. It was nice, because I got to catch up on a lot of shows

My son woke up at 4:45 today and wouldn't go back to sleep. I nursed him in my room until 5:30, then DH took him downstairs to play while I slept an extra hour. We've been having a lot of early morning wake ups lately. One time I was able to nurse him back to sleep, but generally he's up for the day. 😴

what do you do (when sleep is not an option?) :P

I passed out on the couch last night at 9:30, which is early for me (11/12)... DS2 was awake at 5am (which is way early for him)... so I nursed him and he went back to sleep and I got ready early and came to work early to enjoy my morning coffee and breakfast! :) It's nearly 8 and I'm still the only one here. Peace and quiet is nice though
