Sometimes I've taken them when he's home and other's when he's gone but I've never told him that I'm going to test. We got a bunch of very faint lines, not enough to convince either of us, then AF came a couple of days later.<br /> When we got the BFP, he was in the shower and that 5 minutes felt live FOREVER to tell him. Last year when I missed a period (A faint line, then negatives. Probably was a chemical) he was around because it was quite obvious I was late. I usually won't test unless it's the day of my period and AF hasn't started yet. BFN's are sad, I'd rather not test at all until I think I'm late. Had to test yesterday at the doctors because I had to get an xray. Didn't tell husband until afterward-if it was positive I was going to make a big deal out of it and surprise him. The first time DH was away with work. I took it earlier in the day that he was expected home and I surprised him. The second time I took the test and we checked the results together. I prefer to do it together because it was more fun both being in that "moment" together. Hubs and I never get up at the same time and I always take them first thing in the morning. I'll probably continue to do that and just tell him the results after. </p>
