So I'd rather give our server $5 instead of $4.88 to make their job a little easier. Do you give your usual tip percentage (15%, 20%, etc.) or do you round the final total. In this example, I would give my usual $2 or $2.20 tip. The DH will round the final total, so he would give $2.50 tip and therefore the final bill will be $14 even.
